Your Role in our Mission
Reporting to the UK Data Protection Officer (DPO) you will be under the functional responsibility of the Edenred Group Data Protection Officer, based in Paris. You will be employed in the UK by Reward Gateway, where you will work in close collaboration with our operational teams.

You will help the UK DPO manage data protection activities at our subsidiary business, Reward Gateway which provides employee benefits. In addition, you will also be required to manage data protection matters at Childcare Vouchers Ltd and Edenred UK which are both part of Edenred Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation (including SARS) and reporting on a weekly basis.
  • Assisting the DPO with the roll-out of the Group data protection compliance program to ensure compliance locally and reporting on the progression’s status.
  • Supporting with the deployment of a local roadmap of compliance to meet both Edenred Group objectives and cover potential local identified gaps.
  • Assisting with the deployment of Group data protection tools (notably One Trust) at local level.
  • Support local teams with the Group projects and documentation deployed locally, notably by ensuring proper adaptation regarding local legislation.
  • Prepare and update local data protection documentation.
  • Update and maintain the inventory of personal data processing activities (One Trust).
  • Participate in negotiation of Data Processing Agreements with corporate clients and providers.
  • Support awareness sessions on a regular basis and yearly training sessions.
  • Coordination of potential incidents involving personal data.

Skills

  • Degree level qualification, or equivalent.
  • A legal or data protection qualification is preferred. However, the opportunity exists for training and development as part of the role with a requirement to obtain a relevant qualification (i.e. BCS Foundation Certificate in Data Protection) within 18 months of joining.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High comfort level with IT and technical issues.
  • Flexible with the ability to manage projects in collaboration with others and to work in an international environment with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Ability to work accurately, consistently and in a timely manner.
