Making sure our employees are feeling their best is always a priority at RG. MoveSpring, A Reward Gateway Company, is our fun, easy-to-use health and activity challenge platform that provides our employees with the tools to make wellbeing a habit.
MoveSpring combines gamified activity challenges, social community, and a suite of programming tools to help employees of all fitness levels engage in a healthy lifestyle. We recently used MoveSpring as a way to launch HEART, our Internal Wellbeing Strategy.
What was the goal?
We wanted employees to complete the HEART Virtual Race, check out the daily workout videos, and keep active to reach their active minute goal. This was our way to getting our employees in the mindset of making wellbeing the HEART of everything we do while also soft launching parts of our new Internal Wellbeing Program.
We encouraged employees to get inspired to overcome obstacles as they made their way through the RG HEART map. As they moved in real life, they virtually went through each pillar of wellbeing and unlocked the secret to persevering through the toughest challenges on their way to making wellbeing a habit.
By joining they:
🌟 Raced to the end of the track and unlocked motivational messages to help them achieve their wellbeing goals
🌟 Kept active by sticking to the active minute goal
🌟 Received daily fitness videos to keep their mind and body moving
🌟 Learned more about HEART and how RG could support their wellbeing
What did they win?
Of course, taking care of their wellbeing is a prize in itself, but we also had a raffle for monetary awards as a token of our appreciation to them for showing their HEART.

We used boom!, our engagement platform and Slack channels as a way to remind employees of the challenge. We then leveraged the excitement around our RG Thank You Festival and Employee Appreciation Day to gain attraction. Finally, we provided a roundup of all of the motivational messages employees received along the way in a summary blog post that employees can reference in the future.
