Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a skilled Product Manager to lead the development and management of our platform’s integrated payment features and treasury functions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in product management, with a strong emphasis on payment systems and treasury functions (incl. financial integrations). This role demands robust analytical and technical capabilities, and an ability to clearly communicate complex ideas. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing technical integrations and harnessing team collaboration. They will also need the capability to effectively influence and coordinate with team members and stakeholders across a global organisation to drive product success and innovation. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead two cross-functional product teams focused on delivering a superior payments experience for clients and their employees, and sophisticated treasury functions for our business units
  • Design and implement a scalable platform payments experience, emphasising self-service configurations and local market-specific payment method integrations to support global expansion
  • Develop and enhance treasury capabilities, including comprehensive financial system integrations (like with NetSuite) and multi-currency support, facilitating efficient money movement reconciliation and reporting for finance teams
  • Collaborate with various module product teams to seamlessly integrate payment solutions, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators such as daily active users
  • Establish and track KPIs for payments experiences, contribute to the Integrations Experience group’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and foster a shared vision and strategy within the team
  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to gain deep insights into the pain points and needs of clients and end-users regarding payments; and business units regarding treasury functions
  • Oversee the scoping, delivery, and refinement of payment and treasury functions, ensuring they are robust, user-friendly, and align with business needs. Maintain high standards for documentation and governance
  • Lead backlog prioritisation and scrum ceremonies and manage product & engineering support requests
  • Measure and analyse product performance, using data-driven insights to inform product iterations and improvements
  • Communicate product progress, challenges, and successes to global stakeholders and team members, managing expectations and ensuring alignment with overall company objectives
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous innovation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing within the product team

Skills

  • At least 5 years experience as a Product Manager within the B2B and B2B2C contexts of which at least 2 years of experience working with payment products.
  • A demonstrated understanding of payment experiences and how to build one from the end-user's perspective
  • Can reason with data and present confidently, with the ability to explain both technical and financial concepts to a non-technical audience (including payment systems, treasury functions) 
  • Possess strong analytical skills and experience with product analytics tools 
  • Experience in leading a scrum team, setting goals, and running continuous discovery and delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence team members and stakeholders
  • A strong understanding of user research, market analysis, and business fundamentals
