Equity, Diversity and Inclusion is a key strategic focus for us at Reward Gateway. It's also something dear to the hearts of myself & the whole RG People team.

I wanted to share an update on what we have been working on in 2021, and a peek into some exciting things we have planned for 2022.

This year we have continued in our efforts to make diversity, equity and inclusion a core strategic driver in delivering our Mission, and;

🌟 Launched our unified DE&I strategy

🌟 Carried out our annual DE&I staff survey

🌟 Supported the growth & development of our five employee-led networks,

🌟 Hosted a variety of global learning sessions on a range of DE&I topics

🌟 Introduced more inclusive recruitment practices & processes

🌟 Supported a range of amazing DE&I organisations globally

🌟 And much, much more….

We couldn't have done it without a raft of incredible partners and people who provide support, guidance and advice. So, whilst 2022 will be different in many ways, we want to be better at supporting the HR Community on their Diversity, Equity & Inclusion journey.

Our plans for 2022 include:

⭐ Begin a more focussed community strategy, helping the HR community get more comfortable with DE&I and begin or improve their own journey

⭐ Our membership of HR DataHub exciting new D&I Index and the impact that will have on improving the use of data in DE&I

⭐ The launch of our Global Internship Programme, through DE&I, focussed partners.

⭐ Increase the level of support for our employee-led networks, building on the strong foundations they have laid already.

To support point one, towards this summer, we'll be hosting an online event focused on DE&I as so many clients & contacts in our community have asked us if we can help elevate the DE&I conversation in the HR space. As it's our first one, the topic will be all about 'Getting Started' as many people are unsure where to begin, and starting something challenging can be the hardest thing to do.

We'll be sharing some of the learnings from our team and bringing together some of our amazing partners to share their wisdom in what (hopefully) could be the first in a small series of events. Lastly, but significantly and as promised, I would like to thank all of the people and organisations we’ve worked with and who have supported us in 2021 and before for supporting our Mission to make the world a better place to work.
