Kelly joined our Mission to make the world a better place to work in September 2021. She's a very organised person, and her strong attention to detail means she's great at understanding our customer and how our product can solve their unique challenges, being adept in listening, engaging and conveying value to the customer. Kelly has a huge amount of passion for Delighting Our Customer and helping them succeed in their business.

With a focus on company growth, we're often posting opportunities to join our Sales team as part of the Sales Development Rep team, also known as SDRs. So, we caught up with Kelly to ask her about life at Reward Gateway and her experience.

Here's what she had to say...

Kelly, tell us a bit about you...

I actually started out in the medical field and ended up in Sales! I’ve been in many different sales roles over the years, and always love making connections with people. The Sales Development Rep (SDR) role at Reward Gateway has been a fun challenge and I’ve learned so much.

I live in MA with my partner, Jeff, and our Springer Spaniel, Chase. I’m hoping to get in some golf lessons this year! 

Can you tell us why you Love Your Job?

I joined 10 months ago and my favourite part of onboarding was getting to meet so many new people along the way who gave me clear insight into what RG was all about, the company culture and goals. It was easy to love this company from the start!

Our Leadership team are very approachable and genuine. Always wanting you to ask questions and speak up. Everyone is very willing to help and want you to succeed.

Even though we’re working remotely, everyone on the team works together and genuinely cares about each other. I love the people I work with, have a great boss and everyone in the company is willing to help out in any way they can. I love to learn new things and have learned so much in this role. RG has a lot of Tech that’s used, so I've loved learning it all. It’s a great team to work with.

As an SDR, what are your development opportunities like?

This is an entry level position so the opportunities are endless! RG provides so many learning opportunities which will help you to improve your skills. There are many roles to move into in sales and beyond and management truly wants you to be successful and will work with you to reach your goals. 

Which of our eight values do you live the most?

We Are Human.  We have such a wonderful company culture here, that it’s easy to portray that to prospects that I talk with. 

What are you excited about?

RG is definitely growing at a rapid pace. Six people have joined our department in the last eight months! Now that we’ve merged with MoveSpring, I’m excited to see where that will take us. It’s another way to help company culture for us and our customers. Very exciting times!

What are your favourite benefits?

The Wellbeing Allowance is great! It’s nice to have the opportunity to do something that you may not have otherwise done that helps to take care of you. I love the Book Benefit. We get unlimited free books for professional development and we can choose one book each month of anything we want! I’ve been reading so much more since I started at RG!
