At Reward Gateway, the well-being and safety of our people is of the utmost importance. As a responsible employer, it’s important to us that we look after our people and provide them with safe options and support in moments of crisis and danger.

Our wellbeing programme has provided EAP as a means of crisis support for many years but we understand that there can be times when employees feel an immediate and present danger to their personal safety. We have worked to find a solution when faced with this predicament to increase safe options for individuals should they feel in danger.

Introducing the Safely Home benefit

Today, we launch our Safely Home benefit. Safely home provides all employees globally with the option to expense a taxi to leave any situation where they need to leave for fear of personal safety without having to worry about the cost.

We aim to ensure that every employee:

  • Has peace of mind to leave any situation where they feel unsafe.
  • Has a safe option they can use when circumstances change on a night out, and they find themselves on their own and need a safe way home.
  • Has a safe option to hand should travel plans get disrupted and delays cause hours of waiting at train stations or places where they feel unsafe.

We Speak Up

We want to thank the RG Women’s Network for their open conversations on this topic, allowing us to understand how we can best support our people.
