Your Role in our Mission Our mission is to make the world a better place to work and to achieve this mission we need a Junior Payroll Assistant who will be responsible for processing payroll functions with high confidentiality and integrity.
Assist in the preparation of the bi-weekly and monthly UK and US payroll
Salary calculations and commission payslips for employees who work on a changing shift and on a timesheet basis
Posting payroll journals to the accounting software
Performing payroll reconciliations with payments and the accounting software
Keep a register of salary advances given to employees and reconcile these with payments made
Submission and make pension payments to the UK pension provider, Royal London
Deal with queries from employees via email and the company's instant messaging system
English proficiency - both written and verbal abilities
At least 1 year experience in a payroll, finance or accounting role required
A good working knowledge of Excel (Intermediate level)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to plan and organise work to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Ability to work outside of standard working hours when required
The Interview Process
A 30 minute video interview with a Talent Acquisition Partner
An in-office final interview with the Payroll Specialist and a member of the Finance Team. During this interview an interactive assessment task will be shared.
