Your Role in our Mission
As Data Protection Administrator you will be responsible for handling Subject Access Requests (SARs) across Edenred and Reward Gateway UK. This will involve managing approximately 20-50 Subject Access Requests (SARs) per month, including some complex cases, and coordinating across roughly 30 technical systems.
You will ensure timely compliance with SARs, often requiring proactive engagement with system owners as the one-month deadline approaches.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Subject Access Requests (SARs): Act as the primary point of contact for SARs, ensuring all requests are handled within the legal time frame.
- Coordinate Across Technical Systems: Liaise with system owners to gather necessary data for SARs, ensuring accurate and complete data retrieval.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient SAR processing.
- Data Protection Advice: Provide advice on data protection matters, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Training and Development: Participate in training with the opportunity to gain a Privacy qualification.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of SARs and related activities, providing reports to the Data Protection Manager.
- Process Improvement: Seek ways to improve SAR processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills
- High attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated proficiency in clear and effective written and verbal communication, adapting to various audiences and contexts
- Highly organised with the ability to maintain meticulous records and documentation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders as required
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of confidentiality and ethical behaviour in data handling
- Commitment to staying updated on the latest data protection regulations and best practices
