US Senior Finance Business Partner

Your role in Our Mission
Our mission is to make the world a better place to work and to achieve this mission we are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to lead and grow USA’s commercial financial management. The primary goal is to perform accurate and timely financial analysis to help US leaders make informed decisions and to provide timely financial US shareholder/commercial packs to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the preparation of the annual US Budget and periodic financial forecast modeling. 
  • Own the preparation and delivery of the monthly US shareholder pack and commercial pack.
  • Lead the financial modeling and analysis relating to USA M&A activities. 
  • Business partner with our USA Managing Director and senior department leaders to help them track their performance against the Budget. 
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to develop and maintain the USA KPI dashboards that contain key commercial and operating data. 
  • Model annual and long-term USA strategic plans by analyzing current and past trends in KPIs.
  • Partner with the USA Managing Director to Identify growth drivers and efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Recommend financial actions by assessing options in relation to organizational goals
  • Develop and monitor financial models and systems to establish efficient and effective partnership/channel sales
  • Partner with our USA Managing Director and Retail Director to assess and implement strategies to improve retail and transactional revenue contribution in USA.
  • Lead the financial modeling, analysis and related financial establishment relating to expansion to new locations within USA
  • Prepare USA financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information.
  • Produce and deliver high level analysis to the USA and Global Leadership team.
  • Liaise with external advisers to ensure financial and tax compliance in USA including annual financial audit/stat accounts, corporate income taxes, GST, and taxes specific to the countries in which we operate.
  • Assist the USA MD, Group Financial Controller and CFO on ad-hoc projects.

Skills

  • Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA. CA, CPA or equivalent) and a minimum of 8 years experience in FP&A / Financial Management.
  • Ability to demonstrate best practice commercial financial modeling and to coach the team to deliver the same high quality planning and analysis.
  • Experience of evaluating acquisitions.
  • Strong background in business partnering roles, using strong commercial acumen, providing high level advice and expert analysis on all aspects of business performance and planning to leaders/senior managers with proven success in value add and process improvement.
  • Experience of building new reporting and sophisticated data modeling from scratch.
  • Prior experience of guiding, mentoring, managing and collaborating with team members within different time zones.
  • Resilience to work in a high growth environment across global locations and working with global stakeholders.
  • Good command of Tableau and/or other analytics tools.
  • Strong commercial awareness, communication skills and the ability to convey financial information to audiences of all levels.
