Talent Development Specialist (L&D)

People, London, Full Time, £40,000 - £45,000 / year

Job Description

Due to growth, an opportunity has become available for a Talent Development Specialist who will support various functions in our London and Bulgaria offices.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive learning and development program to improve technical and soft skills
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to help employees achieve their career goals and improve their performance
  • Design and deliver learning modules that focus to support our engineering teams with coding standards, software development best practices, and agile methodologies
  • Work with managers and senior engineers to identify areas for improvement and develop plans that align with our objectives
  • Develop and maintain learning materials, including presentations, documentation, and hands-on exercises
  • Manage our engineering internship program, including the selection and development of interns
  • Ensure employees and managers have access to the resources they need to succeed, including learning materials, software, and hardware
  • Manage our accessibility/security training programs for engineers

Skills

  • Relevant experience as a Learning and Development Specialist and working towards a level 5 CIPD 
  • Experience designing and delivering technical training programs for our engineering team
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire developers
  • Experience managing an engineering internship program is highly advantageous

The Interview Process

  • A 40-minute online interview with the Senior Talent Partner
  • A 60-minute online interview with the Head of Learning & Development and People Experience Director
