Due to growth, an opportunity has become available for an Engineering focused Training & Development Specialist to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. In this role, you will be required to run bootcamp style training programmes, guide and manage the implementation of our Internship programme, and enable the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive training program to improve technical and soft skills
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to help engineers achieve their career goals and improve their performance
  • Design and deliver training modules that focus on coding standards, software development best practices, and agile methodologies
  • Work with senior engineers to identify areas for improvement and develop training plans that align with our objectives
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, documentation, and hands-on exercises
  • Manage our internship program, including the selection and training of interns
  • Ensure our engineers have access to the resources they need to succeed, including training materials, software, and hardware
  • Manage our accessibility/security training programmes for engineers

Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on training and development
  • Experience designing and delivering technical training programs
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire developers
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, agile methodologies, and software testing
  • Experience managing an internship program is highly advantageous

The Interview Process

  • A 40-minute online interview with the Talent Partner
  • A 60-minute online interview with the Head of Learning & Development OR the Head of Development and the Director of Engineering
  • An introductory call with the People Experience Director
