Your role in our Mission
Reward Gateway’s Core Platform organisation owns and operates the infrastructure that our Engineers use to deliver these products. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager who can play a role in planning, executing and delivering on technology initiatives.

The infrastructure Core Platform provides is central to the business meaning you will interact with a variety of teams. You will be working with Engineering stakeholders, so you need to be comfortable explaining technical trade-offs. You will also need to work closely with Information Security and Privacy to keep systems and data safe. 
You will take ownership for the delivery and coordination of tactical projects in Core Platform and land strategic organisation-wide initiatives. 

This will require a hands-on approach, combined with strong technical foresight and great stakeholder management. You must be comfortable communicating analysis and recommendations of the Core Platform teams to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributing to building a Core Platform organisation that effectively delivers on customer needs and agreed goals.
  • Helping manage the strategic and business planning processes, leading conversations with stakeholders to develop concepts and translating those into roadmaps, plans and forecasts.
  • Taking responsibility for release schedules and milestones, collaborating with engineering leaders to sustainably deliver them.
  • Managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to stakeholders.
  • Partnering with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
  • Leading on communication with stakeholders from other technical and non-technical parts of the business.
  • Defining and tracking key metrics and key quality and performance indicators.

Skills

  • Organised complex programmes of work spanning across multiple teams.
  • Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences at varied levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in areas of uncertainty or ambiguity.
  • A focus on outcomes over processes, optimising for the highest impact.
  • Knowledge of user needs, jobs to be done, gathering requirements, and defining scope.
  • Experience implementing technology change and processes from scratch with the ability to delve into detail.
  • Technical background either as an Engineer or leading implementations.

  • A video interview with the Engineering Director and Head of Partnership & Integration
  • In office interview with the CTO and a Product Manager
