Your role in our Mission
Our mission is to make the world a better place to work and to achieve this mission we need an experienced Management Accountant to provide paternity cover within our Finance team. Reporting to our Finance Manager, this role is important in producing reliable financial data and reports which will assist management in making business decisions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the Group’s financial reporting, which includes:
    • Preparation of the P&Ls for several key products and marketing
    • Ownership of the fixed asset register
    • Variance against budget reporting
    • Month-end close journal preparation
  • Act as a business partner to the global marketing team
  • Ensure that balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and supported by appropriate documentation on a monthly basis
  • Assist Senior Management Accountant in preparing monthly management accounts
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to deliver accurate and timely month-end numbers.
  • Review the day-to-day output of the AP and AR teams
  • Ad hoc internal reporting projects and analysis as required

Skills

  • Qualified, part qualified, qualified by experience  (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, and their equivalents)
  • Previous experience in a Management Accounting role particularly fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and business partnering with stakeholders
  • High attention to detail coupled with a logical approach to problem-solving
  • Good planning and organisational skills to work to strict deadlines
  • Intermediate level in Excel (use vlookups, Pivot tables, large data tables)
  • Experience in working in a global team and being able to build positive relationships with key stakeholders
  • Comfortable in working in a fast-paced, changing environment
