Your role in our Mission Our mission is to make the world a better place to work and to achieve this mission you will be a key member of the Engineering unit at Reward Gateway. You will be responsible for ensuring that our web-based products are built to be visually compelling and compliant with both internal and external standards. You will work in a team with QAs, Designers and Back-end developers to build various projects contributing to the service that RG provides to its clients. Your team will stay organised by using the agile development practices and will deliver short-term incremental updates to the project at hand.
Using standards compliant HTML5 and CSS3
Creating responsive implementations of designs by creating new and updating existing components
Review designs and spot UX problems in the development process and propose alternatives
Keeping up to date with latest best practices and implementing improvements to the product and processes.
Understanding cross-browser compatibility issues and implementing designs using 'graceful degradation' for legacy browsers
Knowledge of one or more JS frameworks - React, Angular, Vue, etc.
Knowledge of unit testing and end to end testing frameworks
Experience with revision control systems, preferably GIT
Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 / ARIA attributes)
Written and verbal English skills
