Sales, Boston or Chicago, Full Time, $270,000.00-$300.000.00 OTE

Your role in our Mission
As the Head of Account Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the growth and retention of our current client base. You will manage a team of Account Managers and work closely with our cross-functional teams, like Client Success and Partnerships, to ensure the successful growth of our base revenue. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Account Management team, setting clear objectives, providing ongoing coaching, and fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Serve as a strategic advisor, understanding client needs, and proposing solutions that drive value and ROI
  • Implement strategies to maximize client retention and expansion opportunities
  • Partnering closely with Client Success leadership, help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, by monitoring service delivery and proactively addressing client concerns
  • Work closely with Client Success, Product, and Marketing teams to align account management strategies with overall business objectives
  • Develop and continuously optimize account management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices for client engagement and retention
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Leverage insights to refine account management strategies and offerings

Skills

  • Proven track record of success in account management, sales management, client success, or a related role within the technology industry, preferably in a SaaS HR Tech environment, with at least three years in a leadership capacity
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Expert-level understanding of sales processes and best practices
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making. Experience with CRM systems and customer analytics tools
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong passion for driving sales excellence and contributing to the growth and success of the organization
Success Metrics
  • Improvements in customer retention and expansion (i.e. high percentage of Net Revenue Retention and growth of cross-sell and upsell pipeline) 
  • Improvement of sales funnel conversion metrics
  • Reduced sales velocity
  • Performance against revenue targets
  • Improved employee tenure

  • Final interview and presentation assessment with the SVP of Commercial and VP of Client Success
