Due to growth and expansion, an opportunity has been created for an experienced Group Payroll Manager to join our team based in Plovdiv. This role will allow you to apply your expertise in a global organisation, lead a team and ensure best practices are used in the payroll team. You will also have the opportunity to further develop a competent team and a new system in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver the full payroll cycle accurately and timely in UK, US, AUS & BG
Managing and further develop a team of three Payroll Specialists
Develop the new payroll system (Deel) to its full potential, oversee changes and upgrades
Resolve issues as and when they arise
Prepare the payroll function to be adaptable to further payroll additions
Respond to payroll queries and ensure clear and timely communications with staff
Help with a new project in designing integration between Workday and Deel

What you’ll be doing:

Become knowledgeable in all things payroll across all regions
Efficiently work with Finance and HR Teams
Be in regular contact with Deel, our payroll provider, working to become more efficient and accurate
Continuously develop the team members
Make all payroll and pensions data available for external auditors and provide answers to any queries
Constantly improving payroll processes to ensure the quality and efficiency of payroll reporting
Assist the wider Finance Team with various ad-hoc projects

Skills

A sufficient period of payroll experience of which at least 2 years as a Manager - not necessarily managing a payroll team but with demonstrable ability to problem solve and improve processes
Experience as a Manager leading and empowering a team
Ability to learn and understand global payroll best practices
Ability to handle multiple payrolls and be proactive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Sound Excel proficiency. (Lookups & Pivot tables)
Above average written and verbal English communication skills
An organized, analytical, and detail-oriented person

The Interview Process

Video interview with the Senior Talent Partner. This will last no longer than 40 minutes
A 60-minute online interview with the Finance Manager and Payroll Manager
A final 45-minute online interview with the Group Financial Controller and CFO
