Due to growth and expansion, we have an opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Team Lead. In this role, you’ll manage Accounts Payable Seniors to process payments, keep our Finance System in check, and provide day-to-day support for the team.

Due to growth and expansion, we have an opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Team Lead. In this role, you’ll manage Accounts Payable Seniors to process payments, keep our Finance System in check, and provide day-to-day support for the team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leading & mentoring
- Leading a team of 3 AP Seniors
- Monitor and oversee that the month-end tasks are completed and support the team members based on the month-end schedules
- Help develop each individual on the team, and make them the most efficient
2. Management of daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual activities and processes
- Report to the Finance Operations Manager and support the Finance Operations Manager with any ad hoc requests
- Manage the AP Seniors and ensure that we maintain accurate records
- Monitor and control of the purchase process
- Make sure that timely supplier statements are requested by the team and the accounts are reconciled regularly
- Keep track of the balance sheet reconciliations and the bank reconciliations
- Make sure that the employee expenses are posted on time
- Prepare AP aging ledger with commentary
- Ensure all relevant month-end tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Work closely with the Treasury function for cashflow planning - be in a position to advise business on future payments as part of the normal payments process
- Manage the invoicing of intercompany transactions and liaise with the wider Edenred Group
3. Improving the efficiency of the team
- Support the Finance Operations Manager in the automation processes and give ideas to improve the current processes
- Manage different process automation projects
- Work alongside the management accountants team to coordinate month-end and support their day-to-day tasks
- Work closely with the Business Operations team in order to unify and standardize reporting
- Make sure that all the tasks by the AP Seniors tasks can be covered
- Prepare and respond to ad-hoc reports
Skills
- Sound English communication skills
- Proven team management skills
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable
- A keen eye for detail and a love for data and reporting
