An opportunity has become available for an experienced QA Engineer with solid experience writing and executing test scripts and working with automated testing tools of web and mobile applications. This role requires someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding products and who wants to have a meaningful role in an impact on our success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determining, negotiating, and agreeing on quality procedures, standards, and/or specifications
  • Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met
  • Prioritising work and delivering progress reports
  • Follow an agile process applying Scrum/Kanban methodologies
  • Completing administrative work including, but not limited to, documenting processes and completing checklists
  • Keep to a schedule and work to meet deadlines
  • Determining training needs
  • Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them
  • Providing guidance and assistance in the testing process
  • Create and maintain automated test projects with Cypress or PyTest, following the company’s standards and best practices

Skills

  • At least 3+ years experience writing and executing test scripts including using automated testing tools of web and/or mobile applications including bug tracking tools (such as Jira) and virtual development environments (e.g. Docker) 
  • Experience with BDD methodologies
  • Experience with REST APIs and version control systems such as GIT
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
  • An independent team player with solid organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to react and respond quickly and effectively 
  • Willingness to invest time and energy into learning new technologies, processes and tasks

The Interview Process

  • Online interview with the Senior Talent Partner and a Senior QA Engineer
  • Final online interview with the Head of QA and an Engineering Manager
