HR Business Partner - APAC Region

People, Sydney, Full Time, $150,000 - $165,000 / year

Your Role in Our Mission
You will operate as part of the global People team and partner with our APAC Regional Managing Director to deliver on our objectives to make RG a better place to work. You will provide strategic leadership to shape and implement effective people plans aligned with the business strategy,  bringing to life our EVP.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management, Communication and Collaboration:
  • Building trusted relationships with leaders and our people 
  • Serving as our HR subject matter expert through networking and being connected across the APAC HR sector
Coaching and Mentoring:
  • Of team members providing global operational support for employee lifecycle
  • Of Managers to help them make better decisions every day
Workforce Planning and Talent Pipelining:
  • Supporting Leaders and line managers across the business on organisational design requirements, and support through changes 
  • Working in partnership with the global Learning & Development team to implement learning solutions which drive career progression and growth
  • Working alongside the Talent Acquisition team to source local talent, and where needed partner with hiring managers during the selection and interviewing process
  • Ensure all new employees experience a Reward Gateway welcome with onboarding and induction support for line managers
Strategic Thinking:
  • Discuss business strategies, people challenges, and plans, use data and insights to connect to root cause issues, and to inform decision making and prioritisation
  • Connect with the global Internal Communications and Engagement lead on ensuring key messages are cascaded internally. Build brand awareness to attract new talent and contribute to the work done to achieve globally recognised industry awards

Skills

  • Achieved or working towards a Bachelor or Masters in Business (HR Management) or equivalent or is able to demonstrate Continued Professional Development during their career

The Interview Process

  • Video call with our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
  • First stage interview with our Sales Director - Australia, and our People Experience Director
  • Final stage interview with our APAC Regional Managing Director and our Chief People Officer
