At RGER, every initiative, every strategy, and every achievement is driven by the incredible individuals who make up our business.

During our recent Great Connection, we had the pleasure of sharing some highlights from our People Team’s achievements and outlining our forward-looking strategy. Here’s a recap of what we’ve accomplished together and our exciting plans for 2025.

2024 was a remarkable year, filled with milestones that reflect our commitment to creating an environment where people thrive. 🎉

  • Growth and Internal Opportunities: Over 300 new joiners have joined the RGER family—a 27% increase in our workforce. What makes this even more special is that 25% of these moves were internal promotions or career transitions, demonstrating our dedication to career growth and development.
  • Amplifying Stories Through Our Blog: We published over 300 blogs this year, collectively receiving 97,400+ views. These stories have connected, inspired us, and celebrated the unique individuals and teams that make RGER special.
  • Wellbeing Investment: Our focus on mental and financial wellbeing has been unwavering, with over £150,000 invested in initiatives to support your overall health. From resources to programmes, we’re here to ensure you feel supported in every aspect of your life.
  • Recognition at Scale: This year saw the launch of 4 new Appreci8 programs, which bring fresh ways to recognise and reward the incredible work happening every day. With over 12,000 e-cards sent and 15,500+ moments of recognition celebrated, we’ve elevated appreciation into a cultural norm. Whether big wins or small moments of kindness, every effort has been acknowledged and celebrated.
  • DEIB in Action: Through 12+ EP!C events and 46 blogs published by our DEIB Networks, we’ve continued championing inclusivity, belonging, and representation across the business. 

These numbers only scratch the surface—they represent the people, stories, and values that define our culture.

When asked, “What is RGER’s superpower?” in our Great Connection pre-survey, the responses were clear: our people, culture, and collaboration are what set us apart.

A word cloud of our employees' answers to the question revealed a powerful consensus that we already knew: our people are the heart and engine of our success. The creativity, commitment, and resilience of our people drive everything we do.

It’s not just about being the best for our clients or teams—it’s about how we show up for each other every day. This recognition fuels our People Team’s mission to design personalised employee experiences that reflect our shared values and amplify our culture.

📊 Building a Data-Driven People Strategy

Our People Strategy, launched earlier in 2024, is a framework that connects our employee value proposition (EVP) with the delivery of personalised employee experiences. 

Inspired by the quote, “Culture is how employees' hearts and stomachs feel about Monday mornings on Sunday night,” we designed it with a single goal: to make RGER a place where everyone feels excited to start their week.

Here’s how we measure our impact:

  • Employee Retention: Despite a year of significant change, we’ve maintained a labour turnover rate below 10%, demonstrating the strength of our culture and our ability to retain top talent.
  • Engagement Scores: Our engagement score stands strong at 78.7, informed by insights from Pulse Surveys, Life at RG Insights, and our Vibe Check.
  • Vibe Check: The Vibe Check allows us to track sentiment fortnightly, creating a real-time pulse on how you’re feeling. This data helps us make better decisions faster. 
  • People Analytics Dashboard: For the first time, we’ve introduced a dashboard equipping leaders with actionable insights to improve engagement, motivation, and retention. This tool ensures our strategies are targeted and effective, making your experiences even better.
