For 14 years, Nick has worked in the Employee Benefits industry across both the U.K. and Australia. He's passionate about bringing to life his clients' vision for launching and maintaining the provision of a competitive benefit while driving ongoing employee engagement. He joined Reward Gateway in April 2019,  as a Corporate Client Success Manager. He then moved into the Enterprise team and further personal growth and development led him to become Manager and lead his own team of Client Success Managers.

With a growing team, you'll likely spot opportunities to join Nicks team as a Client Success Manager and so we asked him to share with us more about his experience and what it's like to work here.

Nick, let's begin with why you Love Your Job?

That is easy. Reward Gateway is the only business I have worked for that truly does everything for our employees that we speak about with our clients. Because of this, I am able to speak to our clients with the confidence of knowing that our solutions are world-class and drive engagement.

We Love Our Job is my favourite value. Reward Gateway is fast-paced, our technology and solutions are constantly evolving and as a business, we do push the boundaries. For me this means we always have something new and exciting to speak about with our clients, I am given an opportunity to learn and collaborate and there is never a dull moment.

For our clients, the next 12 months are all about HR teams, and HR stakeholders, becoming benefits marketeers. Promoting, highlighting and making benefits visible in the workplace is going to be key to successful retention and support as we emerge from the pandemic.

What made you want to join?

Previously, in Australia, I had worked for a benefits business that was acquired by Reward Gateway. On returning back to the U.K. I was searching for a new employment opportunity and I contacted my old line manager to ask what it was like to work for Reward Gateway. I really liked what I heard, applied, and have not been disappointed.

So, what advice would you give anyone interested in applying?

Yes. We are for real.

What’s the culture like?

Our team culture is supportive and collaborative. I have never had a single colleague at Reward Gateway say to me ‘That is not my job’. As for leadership, they are very open and honest. As an employee I know what our strategic direction is, I understand what is on the roadmap and I have access to our leaders at all times. You can really see the trust and honest culture being lived, especially with our approach to flexible and hybrid working. We really trust our people.

Do you have a favourite benefit?

There are so many great benefits at Reward Gateway however my favourite is being able to bring my dog Dusty to work with me. Not only has this benefit saved me on a number of occasions when my dog walker has been on holiday or we have had a mini heatwave, but it also creates such a great atmosphere in the workplace. Dusty loves her office days.
