Finance, London, Full Time, £85,000 - £90,000 / year

Your Role in our Mission
As RG continues to expand, we have a newly crafted vacancy for an additional Finance Manager with the purpose to provide reliable financial data and reports to various team members in the business. This is a broad role with a particular focus on acquisition accounting and understanding the tax impact within a private equity setting. Working alongside another Finance Manager, you will coordinate and lead 2 direct reports including a Payroll Manager and an Accounts Payable Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review financial data and prepare the monthly reporting pack
  • Develop the way in which the finance team works and capture data to improve the reliability and accuracy of financial reporting
  • Be a point of call for Financial Accounting technical knowledge such as share-based payments and elimination journals on consolidation. Be able to prepare consolidated financial statements and have good knowledge of Corporation tax and VAT
  • Liaise with external advisers to ensure financial and tax compliance in each region, including annual financial audits, preparation of statutory accounts, corporation and income tax returns and other taxation returns specific to the countries in which we operate
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for the business, senior finance team members, and new investors
  • Assist the Financial Controller and CFO on ad hoc projects

Skills

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Strong Financial Accounting knowledge in line with IFRS and FRS 102
  • Experience in Acquisition & Group accounting
  • Proven knowledge of corporation tax
  • Experience leading a Finance team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting financial information
